Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Social Marketing and Cause Marketing?

Cause Marketing is just one category of the broader scope of Social Marketing.  Social Marketing encompasses anything that benefits people and businesses in the community.  Social Marketing also includes Advocacy as a category.  Advocacy is about changing behavior and how people view a situation- like using seat belts, not smoking, drug prevention, drunk driving and health issues.

What can we expect when working with Bridge Marketing?

Melanie Fernandez, founder of Bridge Marketing will make at least two market visits for two days each.  During the first visit, one half day is spent in training and demonstrating the Bridge Marketing System.  This selling system is Simple, easily Duplicated and Star Proof.  Even the most inexperienced television AE can easily sell Social Marketing campaigns with the system. Most AEs integrate it into day to day advertising sales with all clients.
After the seminar, all the time is spent making pre arranged sales calls by the AEs with direction on who to call and what to say by Melanie Fernandez.
After leaving the market, Ms. Fernandez stays in contact via email and phone and coaches the AEs in writing proposals and developing campaigns.

What is the station’s commitment?

Make Social Marketing as part of the station’s internal and external culture.  Make sure that the Social Marketing initiatives are talked about around the station, including the News Department.  You will find that by promoting the Social Marketing initiative internally, it will also improve employee morale.
Implement an accountability system for the AEs, and tie incentives to success.  Make sure it is an ongoing process, not just an urgent “project”.

How long will it take to see a return on investment?

Bridge Marketing has a vast library of turn key money making campaigns that can be started right away with commitments within 90 days.  Larger campaigns take longer to land.  In Social Marketing, we are not trying to capture a portion of a media budget; we are creating a budget just for your TV station.

What revenue amount is typically generated by Social Marketing campaigns?

Bridge Marketing stations typically generate $200,000.00 -$500,000.00 per year of new to television, NTR revenue.

How long does Bridge Marketing usually work with a station?

Happily, the Bridge Marketing stations have continued to renew their relationship with Bridge Marketing to various degrees.  Ms. Fernandez has worked with KASA FOX 2 for 5 years, they are generating $400,000.00 per year in new revenue.
Renewing stations secure their fees and have first choice of dates for market trips.

What are Bridge Marketing’s fees?
